Spanning the course of 20+ years Toni and Lisa of bellylove wrote and recorded over 35 songs. Various artist were featured on bass and drums throughout their career, most notably bassist Clint Davidson, drummers Adam Steinberg, Becky Wreck, Sheri Kaplan, Chris Russo and Dave Norwoods. The songs were recorded at various studios; Matt Lynch's "Mysterious Mammal" in Sliver Lake, Mick Michaelbach's studio in Korea Town, Marty Rifkin's place in Santa Monica, and "Drive By" studio in the Panarama City and "Brooklyn"studio in Hollywood. The band played in the greater L.A. and Southbay and opened for Ana DiFranco in Florida. bellyllove was featured on the 3rd season premier of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" in 1999 performing "Back to Freedom". The duo performed the song on the set which backdropped Buffy running away from home after she killed her boyfriend who she secretly found out was a vampire who had lied about his true identity.
